Epacha Game Lodge & Spa stands on a line of hills above its own private game reserve in the Etosha South region — stone, thatch and long verandas over plains that carry 21 antelope species, including sable. It is the most classically grand of the southern lodges: 80 m² chalets with outside showers, the Mystique Spa with sauna, steam room and an open-air duo treatment room, a clay-pigeon range, its own airstrip, and a sister property (Eagle Tented Lodge) across the same reserve.

At the top sits the Royal Impala Villa: three bedrooms for up to six adults and three children, bookable room-by-room — or taken whole with a butler and private ranger, at NAD 106,040 per night fully inclusive, the most expensive single address in the Etosha area.

Who Epacha suits

Couples and small groups who want the private-reserve rhythm — night drives, walking, spa afternoons — with Etosha as a guided day rather than a daily self-drive. Getting to Epacha

Epacha lies in the Etosha South region off the C40/D2695 network west of the Outjo–Andersson’s Gate road; the lodge itself publishes no gate distance, and third-party guides place it about 55 km — roughly 45–60 minutes — from Andersson’s Gate. Fly-in guests use the reserve’s own airstrip (free transfers) or the Ongava strip (NAD 2,640 per vehicle, one way).
