Etosha Deep 5-Day Safari
The 5-Day Etosha Deep Dive: Full Park Coverage
Five days (4 nights) in Etosha is the wildlife enthusiast’s ideal. You cover the complete park west-to-east, spend multiple sessions at each camp’s waterhole, do at least two night drives, and have time to sit and wait rather than constantly moving. This is how serious game-viewing is done in Etosha.

What Makes 5 Days Different
- Patience pays: Multiple sessions at the same waterhole often reveal different animals each time
- Two night drives: Night drives at two different camps (Okaukuejo and Namutoni) offer entirely different species profiles
- No rushing: 5 days allows you to sit for an hour at a productive waterhole without checking your watch
- Multiple encounters: You’ll often see the same lion pride twice — once moving in the morning, once at the waterhole at dusk
